Giggre

Welcome to Giggre

Our goal is to safely connect neighbors and get things done. Whether you’re posting a task or lending a hand, you’re part of a community built on trust and reliability.

These guidelines are here to make sure every task is handled safely, respectfully, and successfully. By using Giggre, you agree to follow this pledge and help us build a community everyone can count on.

Our Core Principles

To ensure a safe and positive experience, every member of the Giggre Site community must adhere to the following:

Be Honest and Transparent.

Accurately represent yourself, your skills, and the details of the task. No fake profiles, misleading task descriptions, or false credentials.

Communicate Respectfully.

Treat every user with respect. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or threatening behavior as defined by U.S. law.

Keep it On the Platform.

For your safety and security, all communication and payments must be handled through the Giggre Site platform. Taking transactions off-platform voids any protections we offer and is a strict violation of our policies.

Follow the Law.

All tasks posted and services offered must be legal and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Guidelines for Gig Hosts

Be Clear and Detailed.

For a "small room" gig, specify what's included. For cleaning, list the required actions (e.g., dusting, vacuuming, windows). For moving, list the items and mention any stairs or obstacles. The more details, the better the result.

Ensure a Safe Environment.

Make sure the location is safe and free of hazards. If the gig is at your home, secure any pets and inform the Tasker of any relevant conditions.

Be Responsive.

Respond to your Giggere's questions promptly through our messaging system. Good communication prevents misunderstandings.

Pay Promptly.

Once the gig is completed to the agreed-upon standards, release the payment to your Giggre through our secure platform.

Guidelines for Giggre

Only Accept Gig You Can Do.

Only make offers on tasks you are fully qualified and equipped to complete safely and professionally. If a gig requires heavy lifting, ensure you can handle it.

Be Reliable.

Show up on time and prepared. If you are running late, communicate with the Gig Host immediately through our platform. No-shows damage your reputation and the community's trust.

Respect Client Property.

Treat the Gig Host's home, belongings, and property with care. Leave the workspace as clean as or cleaner than you found it.

Complete the Job as Agreed.

Fulfill all aspects of the task as described. If the scope needs to change, discuss it with the Gig Host and come to an agreement before proceeding.

Prohibited Gigs

To protect our community, the following types of gig are strictly prohibited:

  • Any illegal activity or service.
  • Gigs involving weapons, hazardous materials, or dangerous substances.
  • Services requiring a professional license that you do not hold (e.g., certain electrical or plumbing work).
  • Any gig that is inherently unsafe or poses an unreasonable risk to any person or property. Giggre reserves the right to remove any task deemed inappropriate or unsafe.

Upholding Our Standards

Violations of these guidelines may result in a warning, account suspension, or a permanent ban. We take the safety and integrity of our community very seriously.

If you encounter a user or a gig that violates these rules or makes you feel unsafe, please report it to our team immediately using the “Report” feature or by emailing us at report@gigger.com
